Un fotógrafo inglés compartió en redes sociales las fotografías que tomó a un hombre y a un gorila en la República Democrática del Congo durante uno de sus viajes. En la foto sacada por James Gifford, se logra apreciar el cariño entre el animal y su cuidador, quien es vigilante de un parque de vida silvestre y quien ha cuidado a este mismo gorila por más de una década.

Según consigna el periódico Daily Mail, el cuidador se llama André Brauma y es vigilante del Parque Nacional de Virunga en Congo.

El fotógrafo británico dijo a este medio que las dos gorilas hembras quedaron huérfanas después de que las fuerzas rebeldes mataran a nueve gorilas de montaña en peligro de extinción en 2007, y los bebés pequeños fueron criados posteriormente por André.

Según el diario, el grupo de gorilas no puede resistir su impulso de “enseñar cuánto quieren a su amigo humano, dándole repetidos abrazos”.

El vigilante pasaba tiempo “acicalando su pelo y comunicándose con las gorilas y su relación fue muy de piel”, agregó James Gifford.

En el grupo hay también un gorila macho, llamado ‘Matabishi’, quien es igual de cariñoso con Brauma.
